What happened to BIDA OSS?
BanglaBiz is now the main gateway and links to the former OSS. Many BIDA services (visa recommendation, work permit, branch office) are reached through BanglaBiz.
What is 'Invest Bangladesh'?
It is the public name used by BIDA on investbangladesh.gov.bd and BanglaBiz. Six investment promotion agencies, including BEPZA, BHTPA and BSCIC, are reachable from the portal.
Is it 'Invest Bangladesh Authority' now?
Yes. The OSS portal (bidaquickserv.org) now names the agency 'Invest Bangladesh Authority' — the body set up in 2016 by merging the Board of Investment and the Privatisation Commission (formerly BIDA). Its OSS links 35 agencies, 12 banks and 5 chambers (133+ services), and you can log in with BanglaBiz.
